MOTHER TERESSA 
The destitute and diseased still gather outside Nobel Prize winner Mother Teressa’s clinics in this sprawling city in the eastern India, where the ethnic Albanian nun, known simply as “Mother” dedicated her life to helping the poorest of poor. Since then her order, which also runs homes for abandoned children and those suffering leprosy and AIDS, has opened branches in 14 new countries.
